I think the Resident Evil movies were well done adaptations. Will LYK if Doom is better...IMO.

I hated the Resident Evil flicks. I guess I just wanted to see the actual games live action. Ppl would say, oh but you would already know the story. Big deal. It would have worked better that way. RE2 was even worse.

I had so much fun (& scares) playing RE2 on my N64 that just seeing the game on screen was cool. I really enjoyed the films (& have them both on DVD, 2). The movies are NEVER straight adaptations. They ALWAYS change things.
ps the soundtrack to RE1 ROCKED!!!

My son went to see it with his friends. Thought it was pretty cool. I'll check it out on DVD in 3-4 months.

Saw Doom yesterday and thought it was really cool. I wish the demons came from hell like in the game. I wasnt expecting that plot twist either. I also thought that the people shouldnt have had those *** names, like Destroyer and the Kid. But it delivered the blood and guts, and was definetly a fun movie. Recommended.

The Rock's latest movie "Doom" took quite the nosedive at the box office this weekend as it went from first to fifth. It made about a $4.06 million gross at the box office this weekend, a 74% dropoff from last week. The movie has been getting mixed reviews.
