Sounds like I'll be in the minority but overall, I really like the MB.
The only tweaks I would've made would have been:
- The sword -> if it had been sculpted to have more of an edge on it, it would have looked less "toy-like." Also, if he had in held diagnolly downwards in front of him instead of off to the side, it would've saved some shelf-space.
- The base -> I really like the style of it but if it had been bigger/wider/rounder (not necessarily taller if you know what i mean), it would have added more to the piece.
- Angle of the head -> I like him looking down but maybe not as much.
I'd give him a 3.5 out of 5.

I agree with you5r review jessie. Your right on in all points. Personally I really think the base should have been thicker, the sword looks like a cheap toy (i believe its made of plastic)and that t aky chest plat he has is awful looking. I put this bust up for a day and put it in a less visible area because I just think its one of the worst in this phase.

While I'll agree with you about the size of the base, I really think that it's a nice looking piece and think that Rick Force did a great job with it....I think that there would have been more complaints if Rick had taken "liberty's" with the chest plate and sword design, instead of being faithful to the characters comic appearance....blame the creator of the character, not the sculptor.....Rick only made his likeness as he's been portrayed in the comics....I also like the head lowered because one of the coolest things about Attuma is the head-piece he wears and I think this pose really shows that off well....I'll agree with those who say the mb should have been armless....probably could have incorporated the sword in the design of the base....the sword is very recognizeable and very associated with the character....

GOOD solid review Jesse.
look forward to you doing more.
I give it an 8 outa 10.
Scince the chest plate and head dress "U" thingie stand out so much.
I wounder if instead of adding an ornament of some kind.***which yes folks would've cried about.***
"Texturizing" it. It's has to be some kinda metal,in Atlantis. And the fact it's yellow/gold and the rest of the character/bust is blue. The two pieces REALLY
stand out. Maybe texturising it would've muted it a bit. ???
I aslo would've changed some how,the "U" thing attatched to the head. it looks just added on.
I REALLY REALLY like this character choice.
1---cause he has some sea creatures head as his helmet. Kinda like navtive Americans wore bear, buffalo etc as head dresses.
2---namor needed a villian.
3---when Stingray and Tigershark get done. it will make for a great looking
display.
Again 8 out of 10.
Nice work BD!!
