For me movie stuff either is or isn't, no compromises, no substitutions, no exceptions. Good fortune and happy times on your find.

Is eFX is Canada? I saw your post Monday and it was still in stock but I couldn't get enough information to splash $1,000 without knowing the details of versions especially when I saw Sideshow had sold an eFX one for $200. That's just amazingly fast especially given the reputation of eFX.

Is the eFX one held in higher regard than the Master Replicas ones?

I did find a site showing pictures of the differences between the eFX Legendary and Limited ones.

EDIT: I was thinking Master Replicas did a Vader from the original trilogy but maybe all they've done is from Revenge of the Sith?
No offense taken! I still love the SS Vader bust, but not with the helmet. The dome was always a bit wonky on that one. However I love the Anakin portrait.

EFX is based out of California, USA. A friend told my this was available and I jumped on it. They created this using the moulds from the Lucasfilm archives. The Legend version is more accurate in that it has the various productions mishaps/errors and otherwise that happened to the film used helmet. The Limited is a cleaned up, slightly more idealized version of that helmet. Apparently both versions of this helmet are the best licensed ANH helmets out there.

I've actually commissioned the Quasimodo ESB helmet to add to my collection as well. Super excited about that one!

The Quasimodo is made by two creators who go by the names of CSMaclaren and Bookface. You can find them on the RPF. They make the most beautiful Vader lids in my opinion. Not "screen lineage", just beautiful works or art.

Of course I can play! I worked with an architect to design the room for that lump of wood.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
