I think a lot of people don't account for edition sizes because perhaps to them ES doesn't matter but that isn't true for many collectors. There are a lot of collectors that would prefer a lower edition even if they know a superior statue with a high es exists. There are tons of pieces that go for huge after market prices that I can't get my head around. To each their own.

Well, on the original Rogue PF - asking your GF "Should Rogue wear her Jacket like this, or with it rolling off her shoulders, or not at all" might get you some questioning looks lol. Not that I'd know.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

The reason the old PF is still going for so much is because a lot of people got into statue collecting late. I am one that did and I missed out on the entire X-Men line. That line is still the only licensed 1/4 Xmen line available on the market right now (XM line still on PO and technically "not available for sale in US"). I paid a good amount for my rogue, double for my Gambit, but for me I had to have the tandem and the only way I could get it was at those prices. I dont foresee the prices on the original rogue PF coming down until this new rogue actually hits the market in a year.
