And I agree too.
In the picture below, we can see the famous architect Bertrand Goldberg kindly explaining to these guys:
First: No, there is no elevator in this model.
Second: No, the real buildings won't be made with wood and cardboard.

Right because prototypes breaking at conventions are a usual occurrence. Didn’t you know that all of Sideshow’s prototypes broke during SDCC 2009?
You newbies are freakin out over nothing.

Same here. Totally agree.
I tried to convey the same message several pages back.

Terrible analogy, is the Rogue statue a 1/100 scale model of the final product?

I'm fine with prototypes not having the exact same structural integrity of the retail versions.
My issue is that Sideshow at the time of the preorder going live didn't even know how it was to be engineered nor what the statue was going to be made out of, even though they had explicitly written Polystone on the statues preorder page.
If I had ordered directly from Sideshow I would've taken a screenshot of that, just in case I need to cancel it because of an unannounced update to that particular page in the future.

So now we had 2 rogues and the same amount of drama for both. Collecting is just hard, and stressful work. It's obvious what most want, and ss can easily fix it up. But the chances they will listen is like getting hit by lighting.

This 100%. We all know the prototype is not the final product and things will change, but we would like to know what we are paying for before we have to give a Non-Refundable Deposit. SS has to know how they are going to be engineering this statue by now, but they arent being open with us. Is it going to be engineered closely to the prototype or is it having a huge overhaul in materials and engineering? I just want to know that it will last and I wont be stuck with a broken statue after the 30 days return policy.

I think the latest Predator maquette owners are experiencing this right now. Reading that thread and there's several owners that are starting to experiencing a lean with some that are pretty bad.

Everyone who is saying "the prototype doesn't equal production. the production will be fine" go look in the Predator maquette thread.
Production pieces leaning after 6 months.
And that's for a statue that has both feet planted on the base.
Nothing to worry about?
