No. The monotonous colours of the base draw your eyes upwards towards Batman. It has some real presence.

Well if you're talking about the small lamp on the shelf lighting him, it's just a $10 lamp from Ikea.

If you're talking about the big Batman/Superman lights on the wall, eBay. They're lights that were only made available to comic shops for display so the only way you can get them is shops that decide they don't want them. They're not cheap lol. But they're really great lights. Have a Wonder Woman one too.

Let me second that.. I was worried about the super large base and giant eagle head. I don't use the wings so that cuts down on the size but the eagle head does not take away from Bats at all. In fact its probably one of my fav bases I have ever had. Lots of presence without hurting the main focus of the piece.

Prime 1 still has stock of the DK3 Deluxe. I think if you went on Waitlist at SS your good. Or am I just telling myself that? Sheeit...

I went on the SS Wait list the morning it sold out... Was hoping for a low stock alert. Hoping it converts. The $480 economy shipping from Prime 1 is ridiculous.

I would think you're good. Prime 1 is dealing with inflated shipping costs so I can't see many people ordering direct. Staying away from there myself for the time being.

Ok so I have had this piece for two weeks now and I got to say I think this might be my fav statue I have ever owned. And I have had some of the classics...


This piece just has it all for me.

Character I love - Check
Great Sculpt - Check
Great paints - Check
Great pose - Check
Great base - Check
Cool switch outs - Check
Overall Badassness - Check

Get on that waitlist guys and hope it converts.. This is one of the few 10/10 statues I have come into contact with.
