Did Hot Toys Improve Gal Gadot Wonder Woman Portrait?
Based on this picture I saw, it looks a LOT more like Gal Gadot (on the left) than what was originally shown (on the right).
Anybody hear anything about this?
I'm a definite buyer if the one on the left is the one being produced...

If you review the WW thread, we did discuss that Hot Toys updated the portrait. I orginally cancelled my preorder because of the original portrait. I've since reorder after Hot Toys showed the new portait. I'm still waiting for mine. There are numerous in hand reviews on YouTube if want to see the final production version.

So they created a new portrait and re-released?
I would be pissed...
I looked on youtube for reviews but I just see the blank expression ones.

I haven't seen anything yet, either.
On Sideshow, there is a link to join the mailing list when the item is released, but other than that I don't see many pictures with the new portrait.

OK,
I did a little bit more research and apparently there is another Hot Toys Wonder Woman based on Justice League in addition to the Batman v Superman Wonder Woman. They look very similar, which is why I was a bit confused.
The Justice League looks exceptional -- I can't wait for that one to go on sale. Especially since I can't pull the trigger on the Batman v Superman version due to a face sculpt I'm not 100% happy with.

Yeah me too. That's why I cancelled my preorder.
So to clarify, the one with the expression is the Justice League movie version.
Definitely want to get that one.

This figure was never released with the original prototype portrait.

What was improved because the differences seem subtle.

The Justice League version of Wonder Woman looks like it has a new head sculpt. I have the BvS version and will probably get the Wonder Woman movie and Just League versions too.
