Darkside Collectibles Studio - Street Fighter V -

Street Fighter V

Street Fighter (ストリートファイター Sutorīto Faitā) was created by Takashi
Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto and it was first launched in 1987 from Capcom. Since
then it has been one of the most beloved PVP games worldwide.

For more than 30 years we have witnessed the development of the game going through
several changes in story mode, new fighting skills, selectable players, crossover fights with
characters from other popular universes like marvel SNK and Tekken amongst others.

With more than 30 game releases, various anime films and even one big screen movie Street Fighter
is here to stay for generations.

For those of us who had the thrill to experience the arcade insert coin era where we had the
chance to place the coin on top of the arcade machine just to get in line for the thrill of the
game, Street Fighter has been and always will be one of our favourite games of all time.

To honour Street Fighter Darkside Collectibles Studio Team with an unparallel love for the
game is proud to introduce a series of premium fully sculpted museum 1/3 scale statues
based on the characters we all loved and grew up with. Our mission is to make each statue a
unique piece of art to be proudly displayed in your collection.

It will be good to see how the Darkside Collectibles Studio RYU compares to the Prime 1 RYU
I guess the character most want to see is Chun-Li. Prime 1 have been working on Chun-Li since 2019

Fingers crossed maybe Darkside Collectibles Studio will turn Laura Matsuda into statue greatness
..it is probably safe to assume, Chun-Li will happen.

I thought these companies would be aware that for the most part Street Fighter statue collecting is over...

Especially when it comes to SFV designs....either do classic or wait for SF6. Hell do a SFZ line, make it anime as f-ck and do something different...that would interest me so much more!

Taking bets now though Ryu in Hadouken pose or Shoryu pose?! lol

+ Ken
+ Chun-Li

The usual suspects

Given the speed this company 'appears' to move it, i am not expecting much. Prime 1 are fast, and even they have dragged their heels with the SF line.

I don't think the IP is lucrative for statues to be honest, especially not the SFV designs.

I read a while back that Eric Sosa is working on this line but I'm not sure if that's still the case.
