Yeah, apparently shipping with FedEx will become even more and more expensive as time goes on due to less usage according to Sideshow. It's a lose-lose situation. I have an account with FedEx though to help with the brokerage though. I'm not really sure what's the best solution at this point.

Do you have to pay customs and taxes straight away when using DHL, or do they send you the invoice later, same as FedEx?

I use DHL a lot at work for international exports, and I'd choose them over Fedex for almost anything (and I worked for Fedex lol)

I totally understand your pain as dealing with Customs can be hassle. With that said, I'm kinda happy that they use DHL as it is cheaper and they are just as fast as Fedex.

Yes, as long as it is available as a shipping service with SS. I've asked them to keep me with FedEx and so far so good.
