I wish Sideshow made a Bloodrayne statue because I love that character and the game is a guilty pleasure. But I decided to only get 1/4 scale statues so I had to get rid of all of them except for the Aphrodite IX which is just too damn sexy to let go.

I'm sure it is just selective memory on my part but it seems to me this is how the secondary market works regardless of statue, company, or any other factors.

If I am trying to buy a statue, it is going for way over original retail. If I am trying to sell a statue the bottom has fallen out and prices are way below original retail.

We are of the same mind. The AIX was the statue that got me into this hobby actually. But Rayne was my first. I wouldn't hesitate if someone did Rayne the 1/4 justice, but I don't think we'd ever see something like that.

Love that Coffee statue in the background. I almost bought one a few years ago, I couldn't decide if I wanted the bigger one or the smaller one and then got distracted and didn't buy either.

Damn you guys! This statue is gorgeous. I only have a handful of Red Sonja comics but still love the 85' movie, so at least I can tell my wife I'd have an excuse to buy this lol.

You know what. I'll bet we have basically the same statues in our collection. lol I mostly collect female statues since they look good and it's good to look at them. Ha. The only non-female Sideshow statues I have is the T-rex vs the triceratops which is an absolute masterpiece so I just had to get it. I also got the apatosaurus when it was on sale. I didn't realize how big that mofo was.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
