The original series of Star Trek has always been my vintage of choice; so my default Kirk is suave, svelte, and uses tons of Brill cream.

That said, I saw a screening of the new Star Trek movie last night and couldn't have enjoyed it more. I had ST on the brain the whole day and knocked out a few sketches in honor of my Captain of choice:

I can't recall who posted it, but a few weeks ago someone had a great page of Buscema Wolverine art that inspired me to draw this up. I absolutely love the Patch serial in Marvel Comics Presents as well as the first dozen or so issues of his solo book.
