Wow, one of my favorite authors! Might try to arrange with an Aussie friend to pick up an autograph from him. Time to hunt down some hard back copies of his work....

No problem mate! As for Terry, you can only hope for the best that your character choice is selected.

Bribe him with cookies or vegemite or something - maybe that'll work

Hmmm, I think Joe would do a wonderful Batman based on work on iconic figures like Tarzan and John Carter of Mars and Hulk!

Last time Joe was out here he didn't sketch other than a few "quickie" pieces so it's a good opportunity to take advantage of the fact that he will be sketching

I guess there's really no way to please everyone, looks like I'll have to cross all fingers and toes on the day.
Joe Jusko though, glad to see he'll be sketching. But what to get... what do you gus think? I'm a Bat-family guy and hope to keep it in the family, as it were.

Colin Wilson Con Sketch Rates - $100.00 for single character full-figure pieces done in pen and marker.

Colin does awesome work and I'm thinking of a Rocketeer piece for myself either during this tour or down the track

Haha, that might guarantee me a piece, or guarantee that he never speaks to me again. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground with vegemite.

I grew up on vegemite sandwhiches, for those playing along at home, marmite has got nothing on it!

Thanks for the info Royd. Is Joe taking pre-con commission requests, or is it just at the con?

Colin Wilson's work always blows me away. To anyone thinking about it, the 'sketch' will blow you away.
