Yes, they will be basically the same we turn in to companies, the first generation prototypes, unpainted, yet easy to assemble. We have tons of talented painters here in the forum, and I am sure they'd be more than up to the task of painting these model kits.

Please let me know which characters you want the most, maybe a poll would be cool.
I can tell you that Ryu and Ken are on their way. Next would Be Blanka ( my own take, inspired by the game, concept art).... after that I think Chun-Li maybe? Please let me know, I can create ANY character from the Street Fighter Library, and would love your input .

I would love to see a Ryu done with him holding his duffle bag over his shoulder. It's a very iconic pose for him. The wandering warrior, always looking for a worthy opponent

VERY possible, these will not just be action posed, but also Iconic museum poses.
And yes, they will be Model kits ( unpainted).
