That's a really dark shade of Green and Orange.

I think the blast effect is there because people who haven't seen the show might be wondering what that arm/hand is doing... he's not pointing, he's not punching he's, well.. erm.. huh?

I'm in, when's the pre-order again?

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

The colors look pretty accurate more or less. And when you put it the way you did, the blast effect definitely works.

Pre-order is Monday Sept. 29th 3 pm pacific time

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Can't wait to preorder and see the tease for what's next.

It should be a villain. I'm hoping for Hordak or Merman this time.

EDIT: Jerry, can you provide any insight on the decision to paint the two additional weapons orange? They tend to blend in with the armor. It seems another color would add some contrast.

I do think the weapons in silver/gray would be cool, but I'm liking the orange, too.

I'm really hoping we see Evil-Lyn next. Her or Mer-man.

To me the blast effect is perfect because it looks like it comes right off the cartoon panel type effect.

Its supposed to look like that. If this was the more realistic version of Man-at-Arms, then I would be in total agreement with the blast effect not looking right.

Yeah, I'm not against it, really indifferent on it either way. Just think it would be a cool option if it were removable. Man At Arms along with Trap Jaw my favorites so far. Already itching to see who's up next.

Now that you've posted it Foots, wasn't the blue belt more of a toy colour, with the belt being grey in the cartoons?

Hopefully the blast is removeable.

Wish there was an option to have his right hand empty.

Probably the inaccurate style guide at work again. Mattel seems to adhere to an early version of Filmation's guide even though it contains inconsistencies with the depictions in the actual show.

Probably some legal mumbo jumbo crap.

Both his belt and blasters need to be silver or gray.

Jerry can you do anything to convince Mattel/Filmation?
