I don’t know what the heck is going on but either SSC or Prime 1 is lying. SSC claims Prime 1 is not sending more statues to them yet Prime 1 said SSC request not to buy any more statues from them.

This is all BS either way.

Man, sorry to hear that happened to you! Prime 1's shipping is now pretty outrageous as they've sent me notices that all my existing direct orders will be seeing significant shipping price increases. It just seems like SS and P1 are now direct competitors and are unlikely to continue doing business going forward.

I had SSC convert the reg WW and received it yesterday. I have a question for people own her, is her hair that glossy? This is the first statue I own that has glossy hair. I might repaint it.

I’m also not a fan that it’s in 2 boxes. Couldn’t they just redo the styrofoam to fit the body in it.

It is a bit glossy, but didn't notice it that much really:

Wow! I'm really impressed by the photography skills by some collectors. Good use of lighting and shadows.

I usually hate indoor pictures/LED lights because 99% of the time it’s terrible even with the best of cameras, but StefanCo did an amazing job at making the statue look so real!

It’s an obsessive hobby and with covid I’m not allowed to have a model in the studio. So I wanted to try something else.

If you follow the same rules as putting lights on a real human studio shoot, it’s pretty much the same. I think most indoor pictures fail in catching the colors cause of the light color and white balance, and using a too wide camera angle. I use above 100mm, which is a nice portrait angle without distortions.
