If the product is shipping from NZ to the US shipping is dramatically more. I can’t recall if they’re classified as import fees or not. I paid a hefty shipping price for the Thorin Oakenshield Exclusive last year compared to similar pieces shipped within the US. It was the only way to get him though so it was acceptable to me. Blame Canada!

I blame Canada for plenty  I'm just so sick of the overtaxing,so I'm contemplating shipping it to a US address shipping service just over the border,but since it's a company they don't accept packages with import charges,so that's why I ask.Thanks for the help HB

Couldn't chance it,ordered via Weta and BBTS,worse case I at least have one.If I hadn't hopped onto the forum today I would of had no idea how well this is selling,and may of missed out,so thanks for posting the low stock HB

Congrats guys! Glad you were able to secure one. This, more than any other Weta piece in recent memory, isn’t one to miss out on IMO.

I have a storage box just across the border in Niagara Falls NY and have all my Weta statues shipped there. The shipping costs are signficantly less and I've never been hit with import fees. Not on items shipped from the US warehouse, the EU warehouse, or directly from New Zealand.

Thanks for the update. I'm not quite sure what Weta's definition of "Low Stock" is, but after seeing your post I wasn't about to wait and potentially miss out on this one.
