Thanks - must be a huge volume discount for Sideshow then. Maybe it’s more of a wash if you have to pay sales tax for Sideshow and don’t have to with Secret Compass.

I got mine from Sideshow and shipping costs to Maine was 155dollars.

You're welcome. The tax was $102.83. Still less than what I've seen others quoted.
It may be more of a factor of time. Mine shipped to me in July. I just ordered another statue today and the shipping was $359.11 + tax. I doubt there is a big difference between the two in weight. The Red Sonja statue shipped in two boxes, so it could just be dimensional weight.

actually it was $96 on my original sideshow order invoice but was charged $105 on my final flex pay

I am in OH, but was able to get it down to $225 by going with a different carrier so still high, but I can live with it.

Secret Compass just sent me this
"We just realized that our measurements on this figure were off by 1 inch, which put the bigger package just above the OVERSIZED calculator used by UPS and Fedex. This has been adjusted and results in $140 in savings. We are crediting your invoice and resending it". So my shipping charge is $260 to east coast now.

I keep coming back to this thread just to look at the pictures. I'll never not to be jealous of those who have this one. I think this is one of the best 1/3 statues out there.
