I don’t care they re-used a pose. I care they keep using this same awful pose. It doesn’t look good, and yet they keep using it. Adjust the position of the arms and make her look upwards and it would match the awful Archangel statue too.

Bowen statues had alot of similar poses but he used ones that worked and still made it look great for the character.

The problem is that Sideshow’s quality is also hit and miss and they don’t do a lot of the side characters. XM knows that some people refuse to buy custom statues, so people will fork over money for a licensed statue even if they don’t like it. Look what they did with Gambit, it was another lazy uninspired piece. When it comes to characters that XM doesn’t think will sell a very large ES It feels as though they phone it in.

Fortunately for people collecting a Gambit or X23 they have an alternative licensed 1/4 piece from Sideshow. While I hate Sideshow’s over simplification of shadows and costume detail, both of the Sideshow pieces have a far superior pose. Sadly there is no licensed 1/4 scale piece of Archangel. With Archangel you’re forced to go custom, pay XM for a sub par piece, or wait around in hopes by some stroke of luck a better licensed piece gets made.
