On many DC direct products with second editions, death, sandman bookends, harley quinn b&w ect ect they state on the box they are second editions.

1st editions are almost always more valuable. That being said, I don't think there will be a big difference between 1st and 2nd editions with these lines, especially over the long run. There will no doubt be sellers that try and list 1st editions for significantly more, but I expect those will be the exceptions. In most cases, I think the prices will be relatively close to one another.
