This one is a pleasant surprise. I actually like it far better than the Alex Ross piece of the pair.

Ooo! I will be surprising the wife with this tonight! But yea I do agree that I wish it was more apparent to be Harley.

Hehe pretty funny piece, like Ant Lucias reverse-take on the original photograph too.

Also aren't the nameplates magnetic now (assuming a metal band is built inside the base)? Then you can simply display the diorama like the concept art & place the nameplate accordingly.

There is a notch on the base to receive the nameplate, so in that respect it is pov specific so to speak.

I think it's a good likeness, and I think its a good take on Harley. Lose the Arkham badge, they had pins in that era, also Joker trying to escape was a nice touch, should have kept that.

I see what you mean now, interested in getting this one or Catwoman. It was good of DCC to address the nameplates issue since these arrived broken in earlier editions as reported by fellow collectors.

I think the original concept is more true to the dynamic between the characters, the statue version, while being a direct reference to the aforementioned V-J day photo, does not seem as believable for those two characters.
