They take a few hours off during the day, but stay open later because of it; lots of shops in the Mediterranean are the same way. Religious reasons, for some... to "beat the heat" for others.
Rome has "convenience stores" that were still open around 4 am.
Great for tourists.

Resting up today, still on vacation for the rest of this week.
Actually I'm catching up on some house chores like doing laundry. Looking to do spring cleaning in around the house. Feels like my house is looking more like hoardersville. Need to start chucking the kids toys as they have way too many in the house.

Don't forget peoples to mark May 4 down on your smart phone calendars. An acquaintance of mine already has his ticket for the opening premiere of the Avengers at the IMAX Theaters...lucky bastid. I didn't realize they sell tickets that much in advance.
