Ken has a lot of beautiful pieces (even Maddy has a few killer Tim Sale commissions), but thankfully our tastes diverge quite a bit, otherwise, i'd hotlink his whole CAF page. As it is, it's still difficult picking a few, but here's my faves in MonsterMan's gallery. Tip of the glass to you Kenny, glad to call you a buddy.

1. The Stand #1 Cover by Lee Bermejo. 'Nuff said.

2. Van Sciver's nod to Mike Zeck w/Cap & Deathlok

3. Captain America by Tim Sale-Cool as the Steranko original, and that's saying alot.

4. Catwoman by Tim Sale-Ken's Batman's Rogues Gallery is impressive, and this one while not as detailed as the full on commissions, just has something inherently cool about it. Must be the cat at Selina's feet. MEOW!

Hey Fat Head,

Glad you enjoyed some of the pieces from my collection

Meanwhile to continue the thread, here are two of my fave pieces from the collection of George (Scottsdale Saint):

Clint Eastwood "Man With No Name" by Tony Harris

Phoenix Con Piece by Gene Ha

Tony's Clint piece is so spot on while the Gene Ha Phoenix has something ethereal about it that I find very striking. Great art from a cool collection! Best,

Royd

Here's a few of Royd's pieces that I enjoyed.

I only recognized about half of his artists being new to the whole "collecting art/statues/returning to comics" scene, but that makes it all the more fun to browse "the goods". These are definitely some of my favorites.

My CAF page is in my signature. - Ryan

Mark Schultz's Dinosaur Shaman Collector Cover Preliminary Sketch:
This piece is so raw, it's gorgeous...the grittiness of it would've been lost with more detail. Really a great piece.
Even in a piece as "simple" as this (when it's actually anything but "simple"), you can see the urgency and storyline unfolding.. really marvelous stuff.

Travis Charest's Voodoo Illustration from Wondercon '04:
Travis Charest has always appealed to me... I love commissions like this, and Voodoo's face is priceless. A gorgeous piece, overall. Charest would be the highest-paid police sketch artist ever, had he chosen to pick that line of work instead of comic books. Lucky for us, he didn't. Voodoo's facial expression says "I'm posing for two more seconds, then I'm kicking your ass..." Haha.

Shanna the She-Devil Commission by Michael Lopez:
Stephane Roux's piece appealed to me also, but Michael Lopez is a master of shading, it seems... and his linework on Shanna, let alone his adept handiwork on that snake and background.. wow... I'm assuming in this case the "NFS" means "Now For Sale" and I'm first in line. Hahaha.. I've never been a fan of the "girl art" stuff, but you really have some nice pieces, Royd.

Here's my top 4 from BeerNutta:

1) Wolverine commission by John Byrne
Love the angle of the pose, just very cool.

2)Deadpool commission by Alvin Lee
Excellent piece with great perspective, not the first person to say this but feels very Matrix like.

3)DPS from Heart of Darkness w/ Wolverein & Punisher attacking Blackheart by John Romita Jr
2 page Splash by John Jr....awesome is all I can say.

4) Nextwave page by Stuart Immonen
What's better than watching a bad guy get a swirly... hilarious.

Great collection BN, could add a bunch more very easily.

and this sweet commission from Aaron Lopresti
