Uncanny X-Men 600
To those who have read it or at least heard about it, what are your thoughts?
Did Bendis ruin your childhood?

This issue was one gigantic "meh." A waste of time and money I'll never get back.

I say it was 'forgetable'-I wish!- like the rest of his Uncanny run full of that nonsense of AVX-it was like children playing tag- and the boring 'Revolution' that never played out.
The same can be said about All New X-Men which started really well but in/after the Crossover Battle of the Atom it went down in quality and creativity because of Crossover after Crossover, some entertaining moments here and there but nothing memorable......oh and don't let me talk about the 'Luke Cage treatment' of Kitty Pryde that went so far and infected my beloved Guardians Of The Galaxy title.

I have the complete run from 1963 to present and am a die-hard X-Men fan but I was definitely disappointed with the whole debacle. Delayed for months and is now irrelevant because of Secret Wars. Shoddy wrap-ups to lingering plot lines. Not to mention that now post-Secret Wars none of the redemption of Cyclops even matters. I'm about done with comics in general. Issue 600 seems like a good stopping point despite the story letdown.

I'm sure that annoyed a few people. What made me groan though was the pairing of young Jean Grey with young Beast. It's like going back in time to the early days of the Fantastic Four and having Sue Storm date Ben Grimm instead of Reed.

I agree.. I'm having a hard time keeping up with the needless changes, and if you haven't read the new xmen book, seems Jeans done with Hank already..
marvel is really a mess to the point that their reboot is worse than the before

X-men used to be my favorite comic but it started going downhill after the Lee area and now it has hit rock bottom. I wish they would get rid of all the X-books and go back to the just one book, Uncanny X-men. The all New X-men (the X-men from the past) had so much promise and what has happened in 600 has made it my last X-men book.
