The long hair head they first advertised the product is not in the final design. Why are you guys defending SS ?. Do you want this to become common practice ? Its like the CPU market until AMD released Ryzen . All Intel cpu were overpriced and stagnated because everyone was buying from them and they (Intel) had no competition.

People defend Sideshow's crap all the time, and I have no idea why.

It’s laughable that this statue is more expensive than the wonderwoman statue lol

I get the sense that there's a minimum that they have to charge so that they can keep increasing prices over time (some of it due to increasing factory costs), and ES could also have something to do with it. The ES on the WW Ex is a whopping 2,500, while I could see Mystique being anywhere from 500-1,000, based on reception from forums and groups.

I don’t know. They don’t set the edition size on get go, so they probably estimate it based on character popularity mostly. Based on your line of thought Batman should have been cheaper. That one was 600$ LOL. The statue price has increased by 10-70$ in such a short period of time. Can it all be increasing factory cost?

Price is just absurd.

Sideshow needs to hear critisism because what they are throwing out to the public is unacceptable, when other companies are so much better. Sideshow is feeling it to a degree I’m sure because they are trying to limit the custom game on Facebook by threatening all their affiliates.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Well that's disappointing. I was hoping for the alternate long hair portrait as well. An exclusive X-23 arm maybe cool but it doesn't really push the "Must buy button for me". It sucks that SS doesn't really step up to produce better statues and go head to head with the likes of XM in terms of switch out options, elaborate bases and so on and so on.. they really don't go out in their comfort zone.
