Black Costume Spider-Man Mini-Bust (Premier Guild)
I couldn't really locate a thread for this mini-bust, so I decided to fire-it-up myself. I've been wanting this bust for a while now to add alongside Venom, Green Goblin, and Spider-Man, but never got around to it until I came across one at a decent price earlier this week. It's definitely an older PG bust, but it's very cool, very well made & painted, very heavy, and only 300 were made. Really excited to share it with you guys here.
Thanks Ryan. I love these guys too. With the crazy ass pricing of statues nowadays, it's gotten me into mini-busts and they dont get any better than GG's. I hope they keep up the Marvel line too. There's so many characters they still can do. It's crazy when you think about it. When you start to get a good number of them in your collection to display, you can get 'em to look really nice...especially using risers. Since I do own a lot more now, I'm finding myself staring at my mini-bust displays more so than my 1/4 scale stuff. These things are so much fun to collect...and they're perfect money savers too.
Thanks guys. I agree qz, his abs look awesome. His whole physique and musculature looks so perfect that it makes me wonder if Harbottle had a go at sculpting it for Gentle Giant. I'm not sure, because I don't know when he started with GG. This PG bust is from 2011.
