Of course, I wasn't aware of the actual details.
Rod's mention of getting a Skype call from the Supanova guest had me thinking Stan too, but I kinda dismissed it as too improbable!

Stoked to see The Man is making a return visit!

Sad to see Adam Hughes has postponed his Aussie visit and will no longer be at the June expos.

Yeah, just came to the site to post the news - I'm also greatly saddened by the postponement (hopefully we can get Adam and Allison next year!).

Meanwhile..... we have the amazingly talented Alan Davis who is one of my all-time faves - been following his work since Harry 20 on the High Rock in 2000AD!! And the wonderful Paul Ryan whose work on Avengers and other books I recall fondly!

By the way, we'll soon be formally announcing (it's already on IDW personnel FB pages) a Supanova exclusive featuring Mars Attack #2 (written by Chris Ryall and illustrated by Sam Kieth) with a Supanova logo cover and photo of Chris (IDW's Chief Editor) and Ted Adams (IDW's CEO) who will be attending the June expos! They will have copies of the Supanova exclusive at the shows for signature

I am also hoping that my fellow Aussie SF members will help get the word out to aspiring artists that Ted and Chris will be conducting a Talent Search during the Supanova June tour to identify a local creator to illustrate an upcoming IDW book cover!

This is a great opportunity for aspiring creators and we are trying to identify a creator who has not yet been professionally published! More details to follow.

Sorry to hear about Adam. So is Paul the replacement guest Royd, or was he coming anyway? And any chance of pre-con commissions from either Paul or Alan?

Also, sorry to hear about AH, but always looking forward to the range of guests at Supanova (the ones I know of, and those that I look forward to getting to know)

I did ask Alan about pre-show commissions but he said that he "very rarely take commissions so pre-draws (pieces he does prior to a show) are usually sketches of characters that struck my fancy."

Alan said that he will be sketching at the shows stating he will be doing A4 size head-shots and A3 full figure - in pencil only.

Pricing to be advised/confirmed but it looks like the full figure pieces will be approximately $200 for a single figure and more depending on the possible addition of other characters/detail.

I'm hoping to get info re Paul Ryan's pricing and if he's accepting pre-show requests soon.
