My son/daughter-in-law took the wife and I for breakfast that morning. Afterwards, I went to the movie theater and I finally saw Godzilla:King of Monsters. Good flick, could've did without the human melodrama. The monster fight scenes were epic. Glad they Godzilla more screen time.

8 more days to my family vacation cruise. I'm excited about the getaway but less than thrilled with the recent news surrounding the deaths of American tourist deaths happening in the Dominican Republic. DR is one of our island stopovers on the cruise.

I told my wife and the kids when we set foot off the boat on DR soil that all we're going to do while there is breath the air and sightseeing. We're not sampling any of the foods and drinks during our stopover. We put out too much money on the boat cruise to be paying for food and drinks from the island. I don't know what's going on out there but I'm not about to get caught out there. I just want to enjoy the vacation cruise experience.
