Surprised this wasn't posted yet, but the next character in this set is Dr. Strange himself! Of course in a deluxe and regular version. Honestly I'm starting to not dig the deluxe versions. They add significant price for just some rock height it seems.

**Edit except as I say this, I realize this dr. strange piece does include a set of swap out energy effect hands with the deluxe version. So not just a taller rock setup.

Cape is fully sculpted which is nice. Glad it's not fabric. The sache around his belly looks a bit odd tho, like it's too tight.

Here's the regular, again without the added height of the rock base and this does not have a swap out pair of hands. I'm ok with this one not having the added height, but I guess it depends if you want the switch outs or not to justify the increased cost. $50 USD more for the deluxe.

For a lot of these the standard looks the way to go for them. Especially if you’re only getting a limited selection of the characters.

However, if you’re getting the whole line, it might be beneficial to get the deluxe, for the characters to better line up with the larger Thanos…. Or maybe not given Thanos also had a standard version.

I really like the designs so far, but agree would be nice to see them together with deluxe/non-deluxe.

For flying characters like Thor/Strange would probably suit the taller deluxe options but wondering if the standards would look too basic if mix and matched.

You all bring up good points. I thought about mixing and matching depending on which characters could benefit from more height (flying characters vs. ground characters), but I do think mixing and matching would look odd. With the added crystal base pieces for the deluxe, you basically would have to group all of those together and keep the normal versions on their smaller bases grouped together as well.

At this point I'm just not sure. I haven't pre-ordered anything in this line. It sucks to miss out on having the "deluxe" versions which some have switchouts and what not, including additional heads that aren't included with the standard versions, but it just might not be worth it. I'm not sure why IS went this route with this line. Besides the obvious money grab, they should have just made 1 version of these that include all the switchouts and just charged whatever price they wanted to. Would have made the collecting piece more easier imo.

And Titanchuck, unfortunately no they have not shown or released any concept art or promo pics showing what these will look like all together. I wish they did, similar to the X-Men sentinel diorama, but oh well. Someone would have to basically take the released/announced pieces so far and edit them all together to get the vibe.

First piece of this line, the Thanos piece, is finally in stock at Iron Studios. I know both the deluxe and regular are waitlisted at Sideshow. Anyone planning on dropping $400 on the deluxe? I wish Iron Studios had a payment plan like Sideshow does.
