I don't like that statue at all. I loved my old SS version, but $7k was too good of an offer to turn down. I've harassed ECC to make a 1/3 PH, but would love PCS to make a more affordable version in that scale.

only their maquettes are overpriced. All of their busts have been hits. The commission was closed long ago, but it's been a WIP for like over 3 years I believe too. I think the ES is 10 or something. I hate when artists take years and years to complete something, so in the end, I'm glad I'm not waiting for that one.

There is something to be said for authenticity and pieces personally overseen by Stan Winston when Stan Winston Studios still existed will always hold a special place in my collecting heart. With his passing, there are certain standards that can never be surpassed in my opinion.
These include pieces like the CM Endo 800, T-X, and T-850 as well as the Sideshow P1 Maquette and older Aliens pieces ...
The Pumpkinhead maquette is one of example of this as well.

Impossible to improve on the Stan Winston/Sideshow statue.
There is an argument to be made that the demand is there so we can make some money and collectors can get one without paying thousands of dollars.
But creatively it wouldnt be very satisfying for us.
