As far as I'm concerned, the only unquestionable candidate that everyone can agree on right now is Scott.
Let him do it alone, it's not like this section is all that huge to begin with, nor will the other mods like Boonie or JDH not be peeking in from time to time in their usual manner.
If another mod is needed after a time, then we can open the door once again later for the post.

Please stop putting words in my mouth. I never said that. I want every NOMINEE to receive a fair vote. That's what I meant, and you know it.
And, as for Scott being a MOD, I don't agree with that. He just recently started coming back in here after a marked and pointed absence from thread. HOWEVER, if he's who the majority wants, I'm willing to go along with that.
