I wish Marvel made an omnibus for Greg Rucka, Punisher and The Jim Lee, Punisher War Journal stuff. I Finally got The Rick Remender, Punisher Omnibus. (: I only don't have The Punisher Max by Jason Aaron & Steve Dillon Omnibus among the excisting The Punisher Omnibuses now.

I went all the way on Dampyr a few hours ago. Man, i haven't read Dampyr since 2003, i'm excited. Dampyr The Horror comics which is published by Bonelli in Italy.

I got the single issues until where publisher Oğlak (a native publisher) stop printing and they went on to print Dampyr as TPBs. I got 4th TPB to 10th TPB until recently. Now, i ordered volumes 1-3 and 11-22 all of the TPBs. I got everything until Dampyr cancelled by The Publisher now. Woohoo !!! It wasn't hard to find but kind of expensive.

Dampyr has always been my favorite among the Italian Fumettis. People mostly like Dylan Dog or Tex is the highest pilar of Bonelli, but i always liked Dampyr the best. I was really surprised how i felt at home with the Balkans setting of the comics. The Eastern European main characters: Harlan, Tesla and Kurjack all felt like there was this connection between me and them. Afterall Ottomans ruled The Balkans for 400 years or something and Modern day Turkey has some land in The Balkans. There was a story in Dampyr about and Romanian girl that got cursed by her mother because she had fallen in love and run away with an Ottoman Turkish soldier... I think our common Balkan history connects us.

I will start to read from the begining once rest of my Dampyr collection arrive. It will be a really long and fun read.

I think i saw some American print of Dampyr back in the day, but not many. The publisher even made special covers for American prints. I didn't like those covers much, actually. The original covers are so much better. There are 3 TPBs or something, but i don't know how many single issues, those TPBs contain and they will be really hard to find at this point, i believe.

Dampyr also got cancelled in Turkey, unfortunatly. I hope it will come back someday from where it was left which was issue 100 something in two in one trades.

I'm thinking about a trip to IKEA this summer. My appartment will get in to a renovation in the summer. I will finally arrange a statue and comics room and i will be able to display all of my statues and busts for the first time. (:
