I just got my first statue. So what happens now?

I decided to pull the trigger on a Wonder Woman statue.
It’s absolutely amazing but aside from putting it together, What else is there to do with it beside Buy more? Haha
I collect 1/6 figures but My girlfriend collects statues and when she moved in I thought I’d give statue collecting a shot but it seems like more of a money pit then 1/6 scale figures.

Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

Pretty odd questions to ask.....I don't know what you're expecting to hear from people.

It stands there and you look at it. Thus endeth the experience.

well first welcome to the forum and the hobby, congrats on your first statue

i would just think about what kind of display you want - if you start buying everything you think is cool youre going to end up with no space and your collection is going to turn into clutter

I guess i’m asking if there’s some satisfaction beyond looking at it.

I say buy the characters you really like
Sure it looks great seeing the complete Avengers line up in statue form but if you have no love for Thor, he does not need to be in your Avengers statue collection. If you buy a statue to be more of a completist than love for the character that will be the statue you will most likely part with first when you are looking to get rid of some.

I got out of collecting statues and started on Hot Toys largely due to the expense and (now) lack of space. I told myself years ago only Iron Man Hot Toys figures. "Can't be too many of those in the works..."
