Great movie...one of my all time favorites. Great sculpt as well. I'd buy it and put it right next to my bed.

You should watch it. It is true that the torment goes on and is a huge part of the movie, the main point is the exorcism and driving the demons out. Max Von Sydow is a superb actor and there is a reason this movie is on everybody's short list of among the best in the genre.

The History channel did a show on the actual 1949 case that inspired the book and then the movie, if you could find it maybe you should watch that first to get a more realistic view of what happened in that case and then watch this movie for the horror masterpiece that it is, IMO
