I ordered the exclusive edition, and man, I've gotta say, statue collectors are gluttons for bad customer service. I've only been buying statues for a year and a half (and honestly, I might be closer to the end of this phase than to the beginning), and I've never encountered an experience with any type of product where companies can willy nilly release the product whenever they get to it, notify you that they'll ship whenever they want and then brazenly miss their projections by weeks without further notice and send out notices for tracking number that they don't even hand off to couriers for multiple business days. If smartphones, which require the coordination of hundreds of contracting companies, with supply chains spanning the entire globe, can meet their release dates, why exactly can't any of these statue manufacturers?

Because smart phone companies are multi-billion dollar companies.
Statue companies - especially the smaller ones - are often literally only 2 or 3 people and a wife/boyfriend/intern doing customer service for free.
They have an order they place with factories in China and often have just as much trouble getting updates as we the customers do.
It's how this industry has grown up and it won't change.
Unless we all collectively agree that we're willing to pay double the current retail price of each statue.
Which we won't.
So we've all settled on the concept that a est. shipping date will have about 6 to 12 months added on to it.
If a statue eventually arrives in good condition, it's all good.
The much bigger headache is if it does not.

First 4 Figures is ”only 2 or 3 people and a wife/boyfriend/intern doing customer service for free,” or was the majority of that post a non-sequitur/false blanket statement equating more precise ETAs with “double the current retail price?” Not worth getting into it here, but managing Chinese import operations isn’t nearly as difficult as it is made to seem. Literally millions of companies (or sole proprietorships), big and small, do it across the world. Also, specifically for F4F, is a Fedex shipping label e-mailed out with no shipping updates after a week the fault of Chinese factories?

lol somebody’s got the waiting blues. Honestly though a little extra time to get your statue to you is the minorist of the minor problems these statue companies have. Creating shipping labels early just helps to speed up their process when a massive truckload of boxes drops in on them- especially when theyre a small operation. The shipment can be early or late. And also in this case F4F isnt just giving away random numbers. Your name has to be matched to the ES number you won when you validated. All this takes time.
Just got my notice, wont be long now.

He arrived but has issues. Overall looks great but he’s got a lot of rub marks and little scratches. I hate rub marks, also because they make me feel like I’m being picky. The bad one is across his back, caused some discoloration. And then there are a few little ones in different places that took off paint. Also have quite a few scratches and discolorations in the top of the base. Emailed CS. What you guys think?

Yep definitely rubs and marks all over him, let me know how you get on with CS, i'm hearing a lot these days about their CS not handling things and Alex having to step in....for me from those pics that warrants a complete replacement.
It's a real shame that they aren't picking up things like this at QC but i have seen a lot of happy people, there's always some bad ones right it just sucks when it's you.
Hopefully CS comes through, keep me updated
