I actually shop throughout the year on and off depending on what I hear loved ones say that want/need, I would have to say about 40%, the rest comes from commissioned work or conventions. I try not to shop in stores very much. I find that crowds make me nervous and paranoid anymore.

I try not to shop on-line, as it's a "less personal" way to shop (I understand that if people are in BFE with no stores around, however, on-line is the way to go).

However, some gifts can ONLY be found on-line, in which case... internet shopping it is.

I don't buy a lot of things on line for the holidays... only things that i can't find in the store.... i actually like getting out this time of year and shopping... love all the decorations, watching the people... yes i know that is strange... i just don't get upset about the crowds and stuff because i know it is going to be like that so i have myself prepared before I go...

I know what you mean, there is a definite buzz around shopping at Christmas, I just don't get the time I used to, work is manic at Christmas so I have to put ion some late nights and weekends!

I don't like shopping in crowded stores either! The older I get, the less I enjoy mobs, especially during Christmas time.

About half, I'd say. But most of our store-shopping was done long before the "season" began. I don't go near malls this time of year. Nothing kills my Christmas spirit faster.
