I agree but delays with these event comics happen. JLA/Avengers, Infinite Crisis, Civil War. Whatever. It's just part of life. It'll be here. 'Nuff said, I agree.

i'm never been happy with any of the delays on the books you mentioned joe, specially jla/avengers and Identity crisis, i was really REALLY into those, i just don't like to go thru it anymore, or atleast right now, so i just wait for the HC's.

I'm waiting for the trade. With the lackluster spoilers that have come out, I doubt I'll be willing to pay for the hardcover.

Joe, infinite crisis wasn't nearly as delayed as this sucker!
I still want to read civil war ,but the excitement has died down a bit.
I'm preferring reading my sandman, phantom stranger, and fables/y the last man trades more and more. I read them slowly to enjoy them that much longer

You don't have to have strep for us to know you're a wuss.

Well, Mike, I'm pretty sure Infinite Crisis had at least a one month if not a two month delay in there a few times. And, Ish, I hear ya. The JLA/Avengers delay was a killer.

It sucks, but with ASM #536(?) the continuity's been screwed up for me already.. especially with the editor's reference to C.W. 5 & 6 in it, so I guess I'm just going through the motions waiting for it to end already.
On the bright side though, with the ed. notation re: #6 that tells me they at least know where they're going with one more issue!

When you do an "Event" type project, this just illustrates how important it is to have a few issues in the can before you start. It is OK to have a tie-in book be late, but the main book must come out like clock-work.
I like Joe Q's art. I just add this on to the list of things that say he may not be a great manager. Too many late books and talent appears to be coddled instead of held up to professional standards (can you say Spiderman/Black Cat, Daredevil:Father, Civil War, Daredevil:Target, NYX, Iron Man, etc).
Someone else needs to be Editor-In-Chief. I'm thinking a prior editor, or a writer.
