Man, this is an absolute knockout.

It's got the same kind of regal, dominating presence that impressed me so much with the IS Hawkman- though I'm sure this one is much better engineered and QC'd.
I also love that it's another not-exactly-A-list character getting the royal treatment.

Looks like it's worth every penny.

So while it’s my most highly anticipated piece, I have had concerns that it’ll look undersized in comparison to my Prime 1 Trinity set, and going from this shot I found on Facebook it looks like I was maybe right to be concerned.

And while it’s believed by many that the Prime 1’s are over scaled (because of the size difference with their own Joker), I remember a few of us actually doing the math and found that the difference was barely worth mentioning.

For example Prime 1’s Batman had the following measurements of Approximately 43" tall including the base or 39.25" for just the body. So 39.25”*2.54cm*2 is 199cm. And keep in mind that Affleck’s height about 193 cm. So some of that difference but not all could probably be because of the cowl and boots.

So it looks like my Thanos bust won’t be the only undersized item in my collection from Queen Studios.

That is very disappointing, means all the rest of their 1/2 stuff is probably going to be undersized as well. I was planning on displaying with my P1s also, but now probably can't.

Though going by that pic, the difference is even greater than I thought it was going to be.

By the official measurements, Batman is 109cm and the Aquaman was supposed to be 98.8cm (116.8 with Trident), but that looks more than a 10cm/4” difference.

I’ll have to go home and manually measure Bats to see if that official measurement is accurate though.

But as to Aquaman that official height was always undersized going by the actors listed height. Conservatively the statue height should’ve been about 106.5cm (actor height of 193cm/2 plus est 10cm for the base and boots etc). Maybe a bit less as he’s not exactly standing perfectly straight.

Yeah his underscaled, which is a shame. He does look to be standing a little further back on his base compared to the Prime 1 pieces, might look better if he is moved forward (or the other statues backward) so their feet align which may reduce some differences.

Also doesn't help with the base being a little shorter, although this could be fixed by placing a lifter with the same colour as the base.

Won't completely resolve the scaling issues but might close the gap a little when displayed with Prime 1 pieces.
