You know people say that Wizard has fallen off...that its become a flea market of sorts...that it caters to B-list celebrities...
But to me, Wizard Chicago continues to deliver. Small artist alley but filled with quality artists. Going up and down the aisle you had Art Adams, Simon Bisley, Mike Zeck, Tyler Kirkham, Ken Lashley, Whilce Portacio. All talented and all bringing quality.
This year's main goal was simple - Art Adams.
With no exhibitor pass in hand and no early VIP entrance, my chances were slim.
But you know how it goes, where there is a will, there is a way:

Other items on the to do list - The Biz:

Biz is a character. Did I overpay? Possibly. But he's the Biz.
With Lashley in the mix, I needed to get him on my Titans jam:

And with the quality Lashley was producing, it was time to put my X-ladies jam to rest. And luckily Jeff Balke resurrected some of the ones that needed life to them:

And then on Saturday as I was going to go for round 2 of the Biz, we stopped by Tyler Kirkham's table and for the quality and rates he was offering, I couldn't resist:

As always, good to hang out with the Chicago crew and catch up. The art gods were good to most but not all but we all know that the lone outlier will bring the heat at NYCC!
And an added bonus - my Jon Bogdanove contribution courtesy of my good buddy Josh!
