My first order for a 1/4 scale piece, almost 7 years ago now. At the time, I thought it would be my only purchase of a statue that large.

My account shows Bowen Thor Modern statue as my first order in January of 2011. But I ordered all of the Adam Hughes Marvel Comiquettes through SS long before 2011. So my actual first order was either Mary Jane or Emma Frost. Cannot remember now which one was first. LOL

My first purchase from Sideshow was the Legendary Scale Bust (LSB) of Apocalypse Ex. at the end of 2008 for $179. The love affair with statue collecting was on and I never looked back.

I lowkey miss that LSB 1/2 scale bust.

OG Rogue pf was my first direct SS order and we all know what a disaster that was.

OG Mystique was my fist SS statue though.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I bought my first Sideshow statue in 2005 - the Tatooine Luke PF. I paid $250 for it and shipping was not much more on top of that. This was when DC Direct was charging $200 for 10" statues, so it was a huge steal for me even at the time!

Not long after I paid $450 for the General Grievous PF, and I thought I was out of my mind to even CONSIDER paying that much...
