Finally got my rex this weekend, first thing that surprised me was the size, when you read SS web page on the size and then see it in person it seems way bigger, really surprised me, came in perfect condition, no damage so that was great news, the paint on mine is a little dark but still looks nice, really great looking statue.

I still might pick this thing up. I had ordered it and canceled when it was first listed. I'd have it repainted though.

I think this sculpt and the attitude of the T-Rex are awesome!
While the paint job is muddy, I like the general coloration. The dark parts around his head make it look nasty and vicious.
Of course it would be better with a professional paint job, but you can say that about almost all pre-painted statues. Just my opinion of course. :-)
I'm thankful to Sideshow for this great line and hope they do more, especially predator and prey dios.

I would love to start collecting this line. Honestly, what kid didn't love dinosaurs? Even as adults we love movies like Jurassic Park. People just love dinosaurs. Its just so fascinating to think that these creatures once roamed our planet. That said, I just don't have the room to start collecting pieces like this. Between my photography and collecting (especially statues)....well, they suck up every bit of free space I can muster. I swear there are times I feel like I am trying to fit 10 gallons in a 5 gallon container. Its a shame as this really looks like a fun line to collect.
