Sorry for that expression (I don't give a...) , we use it a lot in Spain. Now I see it can be misunderstood in english.

Also it was a response to using any excuse now to contradict me, we have no arguments on this matter, we contradict you on that silly thing of the model kit (who cares who made it!).

I wanted basically to be back on topic but it seems not possible.

I have to clarify this because this guy tamaboy will attack me based solely on that. Forums are funny.

Okay, okay, maybe it's time to agree to disagree and move on.
If you like this product then pre-order it. If you don't like it save your money for the next one.

Yea, those who like it go ahead and pre order it. Those who don’t will probably get the Prime 1 piece. Everyone’s a winner !

I completely agree with you all. In the movie, she definitely stretches her neck out for this roar which Chronicle nailed on the breakout sculpt but missed on this one.

Here is what caught my eye:

1. Head seems too small and not angled high enough for the roar
2. Neck is too short and skinny (from every angle)
3. Right foot is not far enough back for this dramatic pose
4. Left tibia is a little too long
5. Arms are raised a little too high
6. Tail should curved less near the base

It's very sad because I wanted this statue but will have to pass unless they fix it to match the movie scene.

Also, the price of $1350 is way too high. I was thinking $900.

I don't think they were going for an exact "freeze frame" pose taken directly from the movie, rather the statue was inspired by the scene in the movie. I think they succeeded nicely in that regard. Otherwise, "oh no, the banner isn't wrinkled exactly the same as that still image", yadda yadda lol.

Not trying to be picky but trying to help them out with pointers. I love Chronicle Collectibles and have many of their statues and will buy many more in the future.

Current Chronicle Statues:

1. Breakout Rex
2. Stegosaurus

Pre-order Chronicle Statues:

1. Crash Baby Raptors
2. Pachy
3. Sick Trike
4. Hopefully a modified Rotunda Rex

Not to mention my other pre-order dino statues:

1. Prime 1 adult Blue
2. Prime 1 Rex
3. Iron Studios Raptor

future preorders:

1. Prime 1 Triceratops
2. Prime 1 Brachiosaur
3. Prime 1 mini Rex
4. Prime 1 mini Trike
5. Chronicle Raptors in the Kitchen

I only have limited statue space in my man cave. We have sooooo many great Jurassic Park statues to choose from. This is a great problem to have.

I'm not going to complain about any constructive feedback, I think it's a great thing and doesn't affect my opinion that this statue looks good (but is too expensive)

However, every time I read through a thread like this (or any Marvel or Star wars thread with similar discussions) I am left chuckling to myself at this widespread opinion that us Alien and Predator fans are overly demanding and somehow different to everybody else. Just an observation, do continue.....
