I like it. The features are aligned with past representations of Mags; sharp nose arch, slim eyes, slightly gaunt around the cheekbones. If the paint app can be duplicated I will be delighted. You can see faint porous texture and shading. The slight skew in his mouth conveys either a disgust or concealed anger.

I like the helm too much to display the unmasked portrait but I do believe it is a very good representation.

If you're on the fence and can be patient, there will be a better one some day. The source material will be there even after this modern take fades to the past. This is Magneto.

I really like that subtle touch of emotion.

I say get it if your blown away by it at SDCC18.

Hope to see it at SDCC18 as well. We'll see where I end up with this piece after that.

Really wish SS wouldn've included both arms for magneto, such a missed opportunity.

Completely agree. They already have the sculpt done....if you are gonna call it a maquette and overcharge for it at least include more switch out options.

I do prefer the original “pushing” hand as it is more aggressive. His right hand is pulling while the left hand pushing or throwing. It shows offense. His “pull” or “lift” hand is cool but not as sinister.

It would make sense for SS to offer both options. At this price they should.

Same here, makes even more sense when you considering he's forming a spike likely to strike at an enemy.
