The only advice I can give you is to base the measurements on the size of statues you want to display on the shelves, if your going 1/3 scale then I would set them for 46", if it's only 1/4 scale then 32" should be fine and if it's 1:6 then you could easily get away with 24" tall shelves.

I base those measurements on some of the tallest statues for each scale I can think of, Prime 1 Superman is like 44", XM Dark Phoenix is like 29" and some of the taller 1:6 scale statues can be around 20"..

Given not all statues will be super tall, you could just do a few tall ones in the center and then smaller ones on both sides.

Yeah it's a mixture of 1/4 and 1/6. I don't buy 1/3 pieces.

How much for the acrylic doors?
For custom build shelving, that seems like a good price.

Especially if you can have him design it so that you can having lighting in there that is easy to set up and hide the wires.

I'm gonna get a quote from another guy. We'll see what happens.

I agree that pricing seems reasonable.

Also, a great point about lighting. Don't cheap out on light as you will regret it, especially with black shelves.

I also highly recommend adjustable shelves for max display options and less dead space

Good luck, can't wait to see what you have built.

I was gonna go with fixed shelves to make them more sturdy. I'd like to have adjustable shelves but I'm scared of the shelves bowing in the middle.

gotcha. I use professional level glass and smaller sections so that there aren't a ton of statues on each shelf. I have found the flexibility to be awesome.

Can't wait to see what you get built.
