Better be a triple changer in the movie. Was nice to see Soundwave and Ravage in the teaser this morning. We’ll have to wait on IA to do him and Astrotrain proper.

Well it would have helped getting a director that a) knew what each characters name was. b) wasn’t colorblind. c) realized they didn’t need to stroke the U S military for explosions when you have frickin robots with lazer beams to sell your movie. d) I could keep going but why bother.

This is all one needs to know about Michael Bay. Goes out on a junket saying he has no interest in doing Unicron. Says something stupid about making a movie about a planet eating asteroid or such. Guess he doesn’t remember directing in the late 90’s.

I’m sure the original plan for General Shraeder for the first TMNT was his brilliant idea as well.

Everybody hates Michael Bay but They made 5 of these movies and Bumblebee being the 6th! Somebody is watching them. And to be honest for most people buying a ticket they are good popcorn fun. They were never meant to be high art and they certainly target a way less hardcore audience who probably only knows who Optimus Prime is and has zero clue who in the world Shockwave is. Giant Robots that blow up stuff is good enough for them. IMHO the first movie was a good flick. The next 2 not bad either. As for the designs well there is a whole group of collectors that love these designs. I'm excited about the new trailer and the G1 inspired stuff that may be coming. TBH XM's new TF line looks like they might actually belong in this new Bumblebee movie.

Three of my favorite action movies are Bad Boys, The Rock and Pain and Gain. I don’t particularly hate Michael Bay, I just find him not the right fit for Transformers or even producing TMNT. He’d be better for a take on GI Joe.

I can just see the team having to lock him in a room when the concept art for Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang was being finalized.

His Transformers movies are guilty pleasures for me. I actually quite enjoy AOE a lot more than most people give it credit. However I also understand why so many people hate them or things about them. Me being in that latter camp. I’ve also spent a small fortune on my P1 Bayformers so that’s saying something.

From bayformers i like Optimus prime and maybe barricade,long haul, nothing else. Generation 1 is so better!!
