Yeah, I think Catwoman was rushed into production because Jones actually mentioned Mera last year when her line of statues was first announced, and then Catwoman took Mera's place on the release schedule. My guess is that DC will make a 1/6-scale Designer Series statue of Catwoman featuring the new costume (the one with the armpit vents) that Jones created for her comic.

I was hoping for that too, yes. Personally I'm a huge fan of her art style, so I definitely have my hopes up for something more... Typical?. The new costume is still taking its time to grow on me but that's fine. Honestly the way that Jones draws it, it reminds me of Pfeiffer's Catwoman and that's a good thing. Just hope it translates into 3D well :P
If there's one good thing coming out of that whole Batcat thing... It's all of the Catwoman stuff. I feel spoiled this year ��
