Looking like a stress free con for me, which is quite a welcome thing after the last few I must say!

I already have some stuff from Mike (who is a fantastic guy) but would def be in on a pre-con list!
Cool announcements Roydster!

I'll throw my hat in the ring for a McKone pre-con Royd!

Great work as per usual mate!

Seeing as Jill Thompson is coming, any chance of her hubby Brian Azzarello tagging along, one of my all-time fave writers!

We definitely tried but unfortunately Brian is attending a con elsewhere at the same time

I'll let you know if/when I hear back from Mike whether he's accepting pre-show requests.

Gah! Jill Thompson rules. Shame this con is so poorly timed for me.

I will no doubt see you all again at OCC Melbourne though this year, so that does help cheer me ups little.

Okay, unfortunately, Mike's duties on Justice League United (was going to be Justice League Canada) will mean that he will not be able to accept pre-show requests However, he will be sketching as per his usual practice at the shows and he's been turning out some beauties!

One of these beauties was a collaboration with the very talented artist (illustrator/painter) known as Nen who will also be a Supanova guest at the April shows. Here are a few of Nen's recent paintings including the collaboration with Mike McKone:

NEN has worked on the card game SHINOBI CLANS by POSTHUMAN STUDIOS, Project Paradigm by Eschaton Media, and has published pinups and covers in many collections, anthologies, and comics. NEN is working on a graphic novel called ISCARIOT, various paintings for publication in books slated for release in 2014, and paintings for a low brow showing in the works.

Nen mentioned that she can fit in a couple of pre-show commissions if interested. She charges US350.00 for a 7x10 watercolor sketch with higher pricing for larger pieces. That price will stand till 28 Feb when she will have to prioritize work leading up to the shows.

I've just been advised that she no longer does sketch covers as the paper quality doesn't work well with her painting methods. Nen can be contacted via - veer.through.trees@gmail.com

Here are links to her websites:
