The base is polystone? That amazes me because I would think that is the part of the statue most prone to breakage and would benefit from a more forgiving material.

this material phobia has gotten out of hand. i mean yeah, im not a fan of swamp thing being vinyl but that has to do with not having any idea what what we will actually get when it ships. having this base be 100% polystone would be absurd, it wouldnt be anywhere near as visually striking and would be just about guaranteed to break during shipping

Yes, it has. It's already beyond annoying, and the thing that really sucks is that people are going to bring it up (ad nauseam) EVERY single time a new piece is shown.
