He was referring to the time of delay from when it was originally estimated, not total production.

I still don't mind the wait. It is what it is. Qc is way more important in the end. With so so much other stuff coming in aren't we all still getting new statues every couple of weeks? Heck some of us have like 2 to 5 coming at once. No rush at all for me... Jerry please take all the time you need to do it right. We don't want another sorceress issue. Btw the sorceress issue was being resolved by Jerry which made me and many others so happy. Things happen... unfortunately this is one of them.

Posts like this imply that they have actually been working on the statues all this time, and are just being careful to get things right, etc. Is that really the case? Or is it that the factories are so far behind that production hasn't even begun yet?

Just trying to understand how these things really work. I find it hard to believe that these have been in production all this time because of the amount of space it would take up. Same goes for any other statue that gets delayed this long.

I am really (REALLY) looking forward to this statue, so I will continue to wait, but somehow I don't think delays always mean extra time is being spent on the production of statue itself. Factories would come to a grinding halt it would seem.

In any event, I am sure this statue will be fantastic in the end.
