Now that you mention it, it did. Not quite the documentary I was expecting. There were heavenly bodies of a sort and a number of blast offs, but I only watched the first ten minutes so I may have missed the space exploration part.

Back on track. I just picked up "Manhunt: The Twelve Day Chase for Lincoln's Killler" by James L. Swanson. Looks pretty cool.

Just finished Monster Nation, by David Wellington, which was a fairly good zombie book. Now I've moved on, and am bouncing back and forth between Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility and Brian Keene's The Rising (another zombie novel). Which is easier than it sounds, since they're two vastly different books. (Although, Jane Austen writing about zombies is kind of amusing, when you consider it.)

Well, I finally finished this book after taking a break for about a month. I hated to interrupt my reading like that, but it was highly necessary. Lolita is a very odd read: Vladimir Nabokov is one of the most amazing writers when it comes to handling the English language, but Lolita was a let-down... and my opinion has absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter. The book is split into two parts - the first, which tells of Humbert Humbert's early years and his initial involvement with "Lolita", is excellent. The second part unexpectedly switches gears, is horribly plotted, very vague, and provides an interesting, yet unsatisfactory, conclusion. I can't recall when I have felt so ambivalent towards a book. Anyone else read it?
