So they cancelled the bishoujo Psylocke and this isn't up for pre order yet. I smell Marvel meddling.

She's never coming, is she? What's going on? Tweaks? Yeah, right.

Until I see otherwise, I'll believe what Gonk said. They're retooling to drive down manufacturing cost so that the price is cheaper. It makes sense to me because I can't imagine a lot of people are preordering the Punisher at $320. There's no reason these 1/6 statues should cost that much.

Definitely agree with the cost. I know he has a pretty strong following, but the Punisher statue is not a good release. He's way too muscular and the price is very high...it's under 12" tall. I think if they had done a less muscular Punisher at say, $250...it would sell much better. Their prices are going up all over the different scales and lines KOTO offers. The new PVC Thanos is also probably going sell poorly based on the price ($100), eyes on the face sculpt, and competition from Diamond Select ($40 for a 1/8 scale PVC and better sculpt) and Iron Studios ($160 for a 1/10 scale polyresin statue with light features and adjustable base).

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Agreed. Way to high for an average size 1/6th piece.

I'll be patient as always, but come SDCC this patience will truely be tested.

if they can only limit the switch out parts like head only or one arm only, then the prices should not be that high like the Punisher. that piece got all the switch outs, smh.

Actually it was the Punisher's base that drove up the manufacturing cost but we felt it was a necessary component to the overall narrative of that piece.

Koto just posted up some new (official) pics on their Facebook page.

She still looks off, imo. Costume is missing details, the paint is flat, and the sculpt is uninspired. Oh well...

Looks like they didn't make any changes to the shoulder pads or x symbols. The portrait looks great Imo. The base looks good as well.
